Dogs

I don't actually like dogs that much, as this short and sarcastic poem makes plain. ,

Dogs
In one end goes squashed brute,
Out of the other end comes pavement-turd,
And in-between is a mangy bad-breathed
Spittle-mouthed bounding baboon
That slobbers as the grinning owner stands by waiting for applause.

Interchangeable both, dog and owner,
Though the bigger fool is the one at the right end of the lead,
Demanding unconditional love, subservience,
And craven idolatry.

Shoot them all, owners and dogs,
Put them in cans
And feed them to cats.
