Poem for my mother |
God gave me the bestest mother,
who has the sweetest heart,
sheâ??s not like any other.
Since the day she heard my heart beat,
Sheâ??s always up moving on her feet.
Never complaining of what she must do,
Just as long has we made it through.
Times were hard by our self,
but still we went on,
day in and day out.
I might have not had lots of toys,
But I had a mother.
A best friend that would hold me.
Along came a guy,
that changed our life,
mom met him and love at first sight.
Life went on and life got better,
she got a husband and I got a father.
Now that life has gone on,
Sheâ??s back at the same problem.
We never hardly see her,
since sheâ??s helping everyone.
My mother cares a lot about my sister and I,
she puts this smile on her face.
But itâ??s not real when you look in her eyes,
Sheâ??s very sad and stressed.
All I want is for her to be happy
Be the mother that she wants to be
Not be at work away from me
I would love to see that love in her eyes,
and hold on tight to her when she cries.
She tries to make my sister and I,
happy with money.
But thatâ??s not what I want,
I want a mommy!!!
