My Dearest Mother

My dearest mother
If I've made it through
all these rough years
it is only because of you

You are the song in my heart
the beats which speaks your name
you are everything to me
without you nothing will be the same

For all the nights I've cried
you calm me with a smiling face
and hold me with the tightest embrace
Life is filled with pain and joy
with you around it's much sweeter
nothing can amount up to you

No one can take your place my guardian angel
because you hold my heart in your hands
if anything should happen to you
I will surely crumble and fall like sand

Mother there is something you should know
for this daughter you give wings to fly
and no matter what it is you do
you'll always be a winner in my eyes
