Mothers Day Dream
I once had a dream
one that I could never forget
where I had to make a choice
that I hope I wouldnt regret

There was 10,000 moms
all standing in line
and it was up to me
which one would be mine

They were all so kind
and would make a wonderful mom
but as i kept looking
I knew something was wrong

I wanted a mom who loved me
who would be my best friend
a mom who gives me advice
and would be there till the end

Those moms looked sweet
and Im sure they were caring
but none passed my test
so I kept on staring

I wanted a mom to laugh with
to joke with and have fun
but as I kept on looking
I still didnt find the one

I started to get nervous
and was running out of time
It was now I would choose
which mommy will be mine

I looked at each one carefully
not knowing what to do
but a smile came upon my face
as soon as i saw you

Thats when I woke up
and you were by my side
Im so happy your my mom
I can say that with pride

I would choose you over any mom
because you are the best
and compared to those other moms
you simply beat the rest

Happy Mothers Day mom
I really do love you
and if I have another dream
dont worry, I'll choose you!
