Momma, I don't need this Mother's Day
To express to you how much I love you
I want you know I love you in every way
Because I honestly and sincerely do.
To me, your love is as deep as the sea
And your smile is as bright as the sun
Out of our family you mean the most to me
I know I'll love you until this world is done
You have been there for me for all of my life
You have eased my pain and nursed my cuts
You have ended my struggles and my strife
You have been calm even when I drived you nuts
When I grow up I want to be just like you,
Loving, caring, always so kind to one another
Loving our God and doing what you have to do
To be like that, is truly a wonderful mother
In my life you are the only Royal Highness
Your beauty is so stunning and so pure
To be your daughter lets me know I'm blessed
And lets me grow on and continue to mature
Through all of my life I have never realized
How a person could love someone so deeply
But on this Mother's Day I opened my eyes
And I have seen all that you mean to me
