In the fast-paced world of today filled with noise, worries, and chaos, one can’t help but look for a place to escape.
Yet often because of the responsibilities from families and jobs there isn’t time or money to travel to an isolated island or even a lone cabin in the woods.
In the fast-paced world of today, one finds it challenging to find a silent moment for reflection of who they are, what they are doing, and where they want to go.
Yet many of these answers can be found in the person who consumes our thoughts when schedules, meetings, and daily tasks are forgotten for a moment.
It is this person in the fast-paced society who reminds of who we are and allows us to slow down…
To treasure the first budding flower in the spring or the taste of the first few snowflakes of winter.
To squeeze together on the couch side by side holding each other silently.
To get lost in the sweetest, most caring eyes, and feeling as if you two were the only ones in a room.
To remember your first kiss, first apartment, first home…and all the hard work and time and effort it took to get where you are today.
It is the same person that smiles at you in the morning, who tells you how beautiful you look that helps you get up each day and the same person you can’t fall asleep without them by your side each night.
In the fast-paced world of today this person is your escape, your island, your cabin, your relief from it all. It is important to never lose your escape, push it away, or forget about it. The two of you have built your paradise together…in your hearts. Your paradise is bigger and greater than any place one could travel to, for it is filled with memories of your past and still leaves much room for them memories of the future.
In the fast-paced world of today, remember you can always escape to your paradise…
