What Is Immortal?

In the endless swirls of time's breath,
In the deep dark depths of the mist,
All that is alive will feel the hands of death,
And will only be barely briefly missed.
But one thing lives impervious to time's passing,
The power of death daringly it defies,
For it is the only thing really worth lasting:
It is true love - true love which never dies.
