Object Of My Desire
Never has there been a love, which time has seen so true. Conjuring visions of love foretold, instinct draws me to you.
My mind grows cloudy, as I lay to sleep. I part the clouds, you're mine to keep. My soul grows warm, your presence I feel; From beyond the clouds, an angel I steal.
Appearing so beautiful on the outside; I'd think you'd be unmatched.
However, there's an equal beauty, which seems to be attached. That beauty is within you; Your fire burns so bright.
For only when you close your eyes, does day turn into night. On this path that's been chosen, let my heart not lead me astray; But let it be my guiding light, for I am merely following its way. Hearts must be followed, to ensure love is true. That's the way I have taken; It has led me to you. Object of my desire, love of which your made.
May your star burn bright eternal, might it never fade. For as I wish upon you, my star which burns so bright; I wish for you to leave the sky, and fall for me tonight.
