In My Memories Forever

Every day I look forward to seeing you
Just to pretend that I don't care.
You are my inspiration and obsession
My life with you I want to share.

I want to look into your beautiful eyes
And tell you what I feel for you.
I want to see your lovely smile
And hope that you will want me too.

I dream of one day holding you in my arms.
That you'll feel my passion,
And I hold the key to your heart.

Your gorgeous face I want to touch.
To hold you close,
My dear love.

Yet... there is something I must realize
A trick that life has played on me
Today I must accept
That you don't belong to me.

Days will come and go
And you will never know
My love for you
I will always hold.

A day will come
When our different ways we'll go
But life must go on.

One thing I shall promise you
I swear upon earth and heaven
You'll be with me
In my memories forever.
