If I Said Yes
If I said yes,
And gazed deep into your eyes and smiled,
Would any of my dreams come true?
Are you a wolf in sheep's clothing,
Who'd corner me, devour me,
Leave me just a shell?
Would one simple word
Open up a door to paradise,
Or just a hole to hell?
If I said yes
If I . . .

And if I said yes,
Wrapped myself around you,
With contented sighs,
Would you understand?
Do you play the game
By a different name,
Win all the pieces to leave me beaten?
Would one simple word
Open up a door to my heart,
Or just a wound I cannot heal?
And if I said yes anyway,
Would you really still want me?
If I said yes,
If I . . .

In Your Eyes
Another's eyes can sometimes be a reflection of our own world. Especially when that other is someone we secretly, hesitantly love.
Sharing
Science has shown us there are Natural Laws upon which our Universe is based. This poem is about one you won't find in any Physics book, though.
Sonnet: I Do Not Love You, Lady
There are times when words don't mean exactly what they say. Times, in fact, when they mean very much the opposite of what they say.
Will you ever?
I don't think you will ever fully understand how you've touched my life and made me who I am.
I call you my angel
I call you my angel because that is what you are to me too precious for a name but you're whatever I need you to be
