Have I told you lately how I want you?

To forever hold you in my embrace,

And to give my love without failing,

as I bask in your beauty and grace.

Have I told you lately how I want you?

To gaze into your wondrous eyes so blue,

to plumb the depths of your soul through those windows

and kindle your heart's love anew.

Have I told you lately how I want you?

To feel your body pressed against mine,

to feel the beat of your heart against me

as we lay there and slowly entwine.

Have I told you lately how I want you?

When you're feeling down or angry or tired,

to listen and comfort and hold you

with feelings of love deeply inspired.

Have I told you lately how I want you?

How I long to be close to your side?

Have I shared with you

my thoughts and my dreams

of a life and a love undenied.
