Give And Give
Is true love really "give and take"?
I think that's just a ruse.
To me it seems when this is so
Imbalance is the rule.
Concessions dos't the giver make
The taker covets fare
Love's cast awry before you know
You just forgot to share.
So be apprised, there's much at stake
In years you've yet to live
The only way true love shall grow
Is if it's "give and give".
