From A Man To A Woman |
| Why do people say if it is not broken then do not fix it or if the cares of life shattered my dreams just forget it or if pain of sorrow wounds my soul bandage it? Who does this undetected wisdom work for? Everyday I am broken. Many of times the cares of life weighed heavily down on my shoulder. Daily my dreams have disappeared like the wind in its seasons, and yes sorrow has tormented my mind, body and spirit; even a bandage refuse to heal it. How could this be? For I am destined to be as Solomon who excelled all the Kings of Israel and whose wisdom was unfound throughout the earth. His will to please God was notably remarkable. Nevertheless, I am persuaded that even he lacked something that his first father Adam was granted. That was God given Eve. God had found favor in Adam and recognized his desire to be completed that too was granted. Here I stand no different from Adam with a prayer of my life to find my rib, my side, and my backbone. I have fallen in a deep sleep and God has shown me you. You are my Eve destined to complete me. However, I must confess there will be troubled times. I must explain there will be hard times. I must let you know there will be many times you and I will want to give up. But I must proclaim that when the hour will come and my eyes will close shut to never open again. There is one thing I desire and long to hear you say: “Thank you for choosing me to go on this journey with you.” |
