Freeze
It is a folly I should think
Your soul to be concealed
Within the orange palace
Behind lock and link

And so my feelings are lost
Caught and drowned
Like newly-sprouted trees
Destroyed in your frost

My love shall grow again in spring
I must confess
My words freeze
As I try to thaw you with this ring

Still your floodwaters rush over me
I struggle for the surface
I try to reach the top
Maybe if I break through you'll see

When you say our love can never thrive
The bright sun shines
The green grass grows
And its my love for you that helps me survive
