Dreams

Some people dream of wealth...
Some dream of fame.
I forgot what it was to dream.
As I slept, I saw only darkness.
But now, again, I dream.

I dream of a friend who knows me in ways she is unaware.
I dream of a place where everything is new to me.
I dream of a woman who is stealing my heart.
I dream of a face I long to kiss.
I dream of a love I have yet to know.

But what makes this dream,
a dream greater
than all that have been dreamt before it...
I believe that this dream will come true.

So now I go ... to sleep ... to dream ... of you.
