Times at night I roll over and see
Your beautiful face
Soft, peaceful, gentle
Calling out my name to reach out and kiss it
Calling out my hands to glide my fingers across it
Your features lightly to make sure
An angel such as you is real

I do and you wake
I see your eyes
Deep pools of wonder
Holding secrets that I cannot reveal
So alive
I see my future in your eyes
A home, a car, children
Everything that I've ever wanted in a man -
Now I have found it all
I found it all in you

As you lie there half awake and half asleep
I lean forward and kiss you goodnight
