As she leaves
She sits and she waits,
For the prinipal to states.
That she is on her way,
to a new beginning.
As her best friend sits in the audience,
she beings to cry.
Everything they used to do everything they used to say.
No more hugs in the halls,
the long afternoons driving around waiting for practice to start.
Get up everyday and face a new day on your own.
As the young woman, turns her tassel. her best friend begins to cry. Being their for each other forever and having so much to say. It's all blowing away. No more talking about the new cute freshmen. Sitting on the bus and making fun of other band kids.

The ceremony is done. She is now moving on. Walks up to her best friend and gives her a hug. They will never forget each other but the most important thing is they will always be best friends forever.
