Where Was I?
I remember, I remember
A sunny day in late November,
Tending a bonfire's dying ember
(I'd had this neighbour to dismember)

And thinking as I do at times,
That I was running out of rhymes,
Unless, of course, it was September,
Or, still less likely, mid-December.

I find such rhyming hard because
My memory is not what it was
And there are things I can forget
That have not even happened yet.
