Fathers day is here once more, come see my world being shattered and torn
Gifts and cards for the bestest dad
hugs and kisses that I never had.

I'll send a card, keep my fingers crossed. An excuse he will make, oh, it must have got lost
Back home my brothers are hugging their dad, suddenly inside I get really mad.

Its not fair daddy, why can't you see? Why can you come and cuddle me?
Why is it that whatever I do, it's never ever good enough for you?

Stepdad is worse, he don't give a damn, He only cares about Duncan and Sam,
I'm an outcast in this house, I really don't belong.
No one would notice if I was gone.

I don't understand where I went wrong; I've missed my daddy for way too long.
He left then came back, our love got steeper,
Why is he trying to make my cut deeper?

He used to care, said that I was his destiny,
He used to love, said all that mattered was family.
But now I'm here and he's way over there, I'm trying to act like I don't care.

But I love him so much; I need him with me,
If I'm locked in a room, he was always my key.
So if fathers were flowers, he'd be the one I would pick,
so please father's day, come and go quick
