Dear Daddie, You always told me you’d be there to hold my hand If ever I fell and couldn’t get out of the quick sand,

Dear Daddie
Dear Daddie,

You always told me you’d be there to hold my hand
If ever I fell and couldn’t get out of the quick sand

You stayed true to your word
Like a nail in it’s board

You were there for me when I would cry
You were there went I felt I was better left to die

You helped me up you made me strong
You made a place in your heart where I belong

You were the only guy I ever can really love
Cuz you are my dad the best of all above

You make me smile when I am down
You take away my loathsome frown

I love you dad I always will
And even when I’m mad I’ll love you still
