Unforgettable Night
I woke up in the middle of the night and a man was standing over me. His flesh was clear as crystal glass and his garment was pure as white snow. He did not say a word but just stared at me as if I was an experiment. He placed his right hand on my head and his left hand on my heart, and then he leaned in and places his mouth to my lips and began to suck the oxygen from my body. My soul lifted from my body and I stood up and saw my body lying lifeless and there was nothing that I could do. I walked to my son’s room where he was sleeping peacefully and at his window I saw death staring at me. I ran to the front door, swung it open and I could not say a word because my lips were tied together. I looked passed death and into my son’s room to my surprise there was another man who stood strong and tall also pure as winter snow. This man was standing, looking, and guarding my son’s soul. Suddenly, in front of me another man stood taller and brighter than all the rest. He opened his mouth and his words cut like a sword to death’s ears. I walked to my room and sat at the foot of my bed for a second in amazement thinking about why would God send unexplainable men to guard my home. When morning arrived I woke up and tears fell uncontrollably down my face. I questioned within myself God’s doing. Was it the anointing oil I put on my doorpost? Was it because I read my bible and go to church? Was it because my son and I pray daily? Whatever it was I do know for sure this is one more day God has made death behave and sent him away. Thank you God.
