The Last Goodbye
There she sits, all alone.
A solitary shadow, a figure, lone.
It's an eerie, cold, solemn, dark night.
With just the moon, a single light.

She sticks out her tongue to taste
Those emotions running down her face.
Are they tears of agony or is it the drenching rain?
The rain that keeps coming down on her, heaven's pain.

Something cold next to her
Shiny, sharp, silver, severe.
She presses her finger to its tip.
PAIN.She sucks the red droplets with her lips.

She wonders then, how it would feel
To plunge it into herself and kill.
Would it be short adn sweet, would there be screams?
Or would there be dead silence, just like a numb dream?

Her long ghostly whiite fingers grip it tight.
She aims for her heart and plunges it in with all her might.
Deep dark red stains the ground
Flows and seeps without a sound.

Emotions long gone, she stares straight ahead.
She slumpss to the ground, as good as dead.
Closes her eyes, lets her world cave in.
And the Death god has scored yet another win.

THe moon shines brightly as ever
As it will continue to do so forever.
The birds chirp away without a care
Ad her last words still hang in the air.

"Someone will always love you,
Wipe away your tears when you cry,
But no one can hear my heart breaking,
As I say goodbye."
