' DEATH COMES SLOWEST TO THE LIVING
And slowly came Death
Like sap dripping down bark
The second hand on the clock
Seemed to stutter as it circled
And th' clouds that shaded Moon
Lost motion...like a freeze-frame
Someone dared to chord a whisper
............................It was deafening

[Death Comes Slowest To The Living]

It was deafening................................
And in the interest of Time
ALL LIFE LINES WERE SEVERED
Made the whispering seem moot
As Time and Life expired...................

[Death Comes Slowest To The Living]

..........................As Time and life expired
