Special memories

You came to my life far ago,
And we reach to a day
where our heart is never low.
Happy Birthday, that's all i can say.

i know you are expecting something grand,
like a compilation of your favorite songs.
But, i want to give you something that make my stand,
something that can hit you strong.

But i want us to have a beautiful rhyme
So, i gave this gift some more thought,
i decided to give it more time,
so that to cherish this, is an ought.

Through good times and bad,
you're always in my heart.
you showed me the path i had
to make my life a spectacular art.

When my heart was all alone,
you were there to comfort me.
When i had problems of my own,
you were there to console me.

we have reached to a point,
where our friendship builds on its own.
indeed, we are at a point,
where no one is left alone.

i hope our friendship is a fate,
so that it will never fade.
i hope we'll be friends until we reach the gate,
so that this will be something that God made.

i know life is full of games,
with you, it will be like a lime.
i wish this poem shows its aims
that one can express his emotions with a simple rhyme
