I woke up this morning not expecting a lot
in fact i didn't expect anything but not to be forgot
when downstairs you did come i smiled as if i didn't care
but deep down it hurt alot in fact my heart did tare
it was my birthday but nobody i did tell
i didn't want to hear what you get and have to look away
