Forgotten

Such a day of happiness
This days supposed to be
A day to remember my birth
A day thats just for me

But thats all today turned out to be
A day thats just for me
For the people that i thought were close
Forgot my history

They forgot this was my birthday
All i wanted was one thing
For them to celebrate my birth
No presents they have to bring

Just to be present and happy
Happy that I'm 12 years old
Does this mean nobody's happy I'm here?
How could they all be so cold

Its only one day to remember
It's not like I'm asking a lot
I wouldn't even care about the flavor of cake
Or anything that i got

No chocolate, No Gadget, No Gizmo's
None of these i would rate first
There was only one thing that I Wanted
YOU celebrating the day of my birth
