A Battle

As the raging claw comes at me,
The crowd can only stare and spit at me.
I'm no good,
But the look in my Master's eyes,
Fills me up with courage inside.
Feeling my heart glow with light,
Seeing the opponents eyes fill with fright.
A battle has yet begun,
And I will be the last one standing,
Alone,
Unafraid,
A Master's faith in me.
I stand alone,
but alone with my Master,
watching over me,
Teaching me,
I learn and listen.
A battle has begun
And I will fight,
For all I've got,
I will not let her down....
